Think about your favorite sports team. Over time, things change – new players join, others leave, coaches change their strategies, and the competition gets tougher.
All this change can make things messy. And that's a problem, because clarity is key to any winning team. But it's also critical for something even bigger: discovering God's purpose for your life.
If everyone isn't on the same page about the game plan and what the team stands for, they won't play their best. Just like if you're not clear about your purpose – the unique calling God has placed on your heart – you won't live your best life.
Imagine this: The coach is yelling plays, but half the team thinks they're running a different offense. Some players are focused on individual stats, while others are all about teamwork. It's chaos, right? They're not going to win many games like that. Similarly, if you're pulled in different directions, unsure of your gifts and how God wants you to use them, you'll feel lost and unfulfilled.
Have you ever been on a team where things felt disorganized? Where everyone was doing their own thing? Did it work out well? Have you ever felt that way about your life – like you're drifting without a clear direction?
If you're like a lot of athletes, you've probably seen how growth and change can create confusion. Maybe your role changed, or the team's goals shifted. And that lack of clarity can hurt your performance on the field. It can also make it harder to hear God's voice and understand His purpose for you.
Will this be the year you and your teammates get crystal clear about your goals and how you're going to achieve them on the field? And more importantly, will it be the year you truly seek God's guidance and start to discover the unique purpose He has for your life? It should be.
Find that clarity. Your coaches, teammates, and even your family will appreciate it… and your game will definitely improve. But most importantly, aligning yourself with God's plan will give your life true meaning and purpose. It's about embodying the strength within, the strength that comes from knowing who you are in Christ.
